Automotive Work
After dabbling with automotive journalism, and writing for Drivetribe while completing my Masters, I settled on the idea of pursuing it as a full career.
I joined Classic Car Weekly in the summer of 2022 as the title’s staff writer and it has been a whirlwind of adventures, experiences and learning since then. From interviewing racing icons at events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Silverstone Festival to getting to drive and review a whole suite of diverse classic cars, it’s a job that to date hasn’t stopped giving.
Now in my third year with the title, I’ve started my latest challenge, a Senior Journalist apprenticeship, which I am undertaking alongside my day-to-day role on the paper.
Highlights of my time at Bauer and CCW so far include being given a lead feature within my first month on the title: pitting the Riley RME and RMF against one another, covering the Goodwood Revival and somehow spawning a classic rallying addiction.
On top of my work at CCW, I still present and produce The Undercut Podcast: reviewing F1 action across the year with weekly episodes.
Read on to find a portfolio of my work; from road tests, features, news stories, interviews, reports and the sometimes ill-thought-out adventures of my 1979 MG Midget.
